South Sudan: Juba Tries To Boost Oil Production by Sipcyp(m): 2:10am On Sep 02, 2018
In South Sudan, oil money accounts for more than 90% of state revenue. The country currently produces about 130,000 barrels a day, less than half of its pre-civil war production. Juba is currently trying to revive its oil production. Several wells have been reopened or are in the process of being reopened.
Closed for 5 years, the well Toma South, located in the province of Unity, has just left, an additional 20 000 barrels in the daily production. Juba also announced that another 5 sources will be relaunched in the area in September, with a potential of 60,000 additional barrels.

The authorities hope to surpass 200,000 by the end of the year and flirt with 300,000 next year.

South Sudan have suffered a lot due to their untimely independence.

Their so called leaders hold them at ransom, very pathetic.
