How To Increasing Your Hosting PHP Memory For Wordpress by Adebowalepro(m): 9:56pm On Sep 02, 2018
As a beginner, some years back, one of the issues I face is having challenges running some plugins and installing demo contents of most themes. Since most WordPress websites are running on a shared server and thus you may not get much of support from such hosting provider.

So, today we will look at how to easily increase your PHP memory limit to allow you to install plugins, themes, and demo contents without getting the annoying memory exhausted error.

Here’s the quick fix. Log in to your hosting and open the cPanel folder, locate and open the folder where WordPress is installed and select the wp-config.php file. Ensure you download the file before making any correction.

Now right-click on the file and click on edit, now add the following line of code

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M');

The above code will increase the memory limit to 64M, you can increase it further but it is advisable to remove the code after installing the required plugin or theme demo you want.

Taken your advice.
Please, i need to ask just 2 questions.

What plugin do you use to monitor traffic and which do you for security? I wanted to use Google Analytics Dashboard for WP by ExactMetrics (formerly GADWP) for tracking traffic but i am afraid it will slow my site down
