Following the release of the All Progress Congress(APC) Party Nomination Fee the young people seem not to be elated. One of the Senate Aspirant from Bariga Local Council Lagos East Senatorial district under the ruling party (APC) in person of Comrade Onaolapo Ajao Afeez on Monday 3rd September 2018 laments about the pricey fee of the All Progressive Congress Nomination Form, in a conversation with the aspirant social media handle he made it clear that the party NWC has not done too well to the Young people of the country as the regard the party nomination fee alongside their ambition.


He further said, haven had series of meetings with young aspirants all over Lagos State as regard the pricey nomination form, the aspirant Comrade Ajao however called on the party leadership to reduce the distasteful fee before the party leaders embark on her forth coming primaries if indeed the party leadership encourages young people in politics.

"I hereby call on the Party leadership to review the pricey fee in other not to slam the door of competent candidates who would not be able to avoid the fee.

However, may we call your attention to it that the President had four years ago complained over the N27.5 million nomination forms for the Presidential ticket and had argued that if he had his way, he would have ensured downward review of the fees.

But the National Working Committee of the APC has reviewed the nomination forms upward to the tune of N55 million. While the Presidential Nomination form goes for N50 million, the Expression of Interest Form costs N5 million.

For the APC governorship ticket, the party reviewed the nomination forms from N5.5 million to N22.5 million, senatorial ticket from N3.3 million to N8.5 million, House of Representatives from N2.2 million to N6.5 million and state House of Assembly from N550, 000 to N1.1 million.

On 3rd September, 2018 the president lamented to the National Working Committee that he can't avoid to pay #55 Million Nomination Fee of the All Progressive Congress which he has seek for review of the fee.

The fee saga has gotten the attention of so many young people in politics, we have former aspirant for Bariga Local Council Chairman, Hon Mayowa.

"It is with great humility and respect to our leaders who have deemed it fit to carry every card carrying member of our great party along on the happenings and events surrounding the forthcoming primary elections.

"It is no longer news that APC is currently the largest political party in Africa, what this means is that political parties around Africa will be watching our steps, activities and the way we treat our members, young and old astonishing major issues.

"Our party APC has been preaching Integrity, honesty, transparency and zero tolerance for corruption. If truly this is what we stand for; I humbly appeal to our leaders, starting from The Jagaban Borgu, National Leader of our party APC, *Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu* and *National Executive Council Members* to please encourage the youths of our great party, who are willing to participate in the forthcoming primary election by making the form fee relatively affordable for them.

Its a nice idea but the problem is that the greedy old men in APC will never concur to it, Osho, Tinubu, Lai are the most greediest old men on earth, they all suppose to have retire by now and groom up young and vibrant youths to take over from them but they will never think of it because of their greediness.
