The Carnival has launched its largest Cruise ship ever. The giant ship ,named the AIDAnova ,will set sail for the first time in December.

The 1,106 feet long ship is the fifth largest Cruise ship in the world. It cost a staggering ₦398billion ($1.1 billion) to build and can accommodate 6,600 passengers and 1,500 crew members.







Inside ,there are 20 decks with a state-of-the-art gym and spa, 17 restaurants, 23 bars, a casino, rock climbing walls, a water park and mini golfing green.





It also boast of a two-storey penthouse suite with floor-to-ceiling windows, a three-deck high theatre space and robot staff members.





Other distinct attractions includes a full-size basketball court, zip wire, ice rink and surf simulator.





The 184,000-ton ship is also the world’s first cruise ship that can be powered by low-emission liquefied natural gas (LNG) both at sea and in port with a top speed of 26 mph

The Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas (1st 2 pics below) is the world's biggest cruise ship.It weighs 228,081 tonnes and can accommodate 8,000 people.

My thoughts exactly. How long will it take to make a profit?

However, European companies can afford to have low profit margins as lending rates are very low. They can borrow funds cheaply, perhaps less than 3% a year

such statements is why you are poor and Bill Gates is rich.
the cheapest ticket for a 4 weeks cruise is around 3000 pounds. over there, that 3000 is too cheap for the customers and it will be sold out in days. so multiply 3000 pounds by 6600 spaces and that's not including the first class suits which can go for as high as 100,000 pounds. they can make 7 trips in a year. If they can't make their money back, they won't have invested. they will get their money back in 10 years and they will still have the ship as an asset.
