Spain midfielder Isco has supported the new rule by coach Luis Enrique which bans the use of mobile phone in camp.

Spain play their first match with Luis Enrique as manager on Saturday against England in the UEFA Nations League.

“It’s always good to have a little bit of discipline, not having phones at meals is a good idea to me, these days we are often more focused on machines than speaking with our team mates,” Isco told a news conference on Thursday.

“The ban on mobile phones seems good to me, sometimes we pay more attention to the machines than our teammates.

“The (playing) idea and philosophy that Luis Enrique brings is practically the same (as the idea of Julen Lopetegui) except for some nuances.

“Possession-based football is the one that has helped Spain achieve our successes over the years, it's what we know how to do right.

“Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid? Obviously, Cristiano is an extraordinary player but if we win this year we will not miss him and vice versa.”

After playing against England on Saturday, Spain face Croatia next week Tuesday.
