OFFICIAL: Real Madrid Announce Record £750.9m Revenue For 2017-18 Season by Sportdab(m): 6:06am On Sep 08, 2018
Real Madrid have announced their highest-ever revenue for a season in the 2017-18 season.

Los Blancos finished the 2017-18 season on top form, securing a third consecutive Champions League trophy.

Although, there was bad news after Cristiano Ronaldo left the club to join Juventus for £105m.

The Portuguese was very notable on the pitch, ending the last eight seasons as the Club's highest goal scorer.

He was also a huge commercial draw, but Real have received good news on that front post-Ronaldo.

The club have announced the
2017/18 revenue was €750.9m (£671m), an 11 per cent improvement on the previous year.

The figures don’t take into account money garnered from transfers.

Despite that fact, it is a €76m (£68m) increase on the season before and the largest rise for the club in a financial year since 2000, when Florentino Perez first became president.

The club also confirmed they have no debt, running on profit for the third consecutive year.

Madrid said those successes helped produce “increased revenues, but also greater expenses, particularly in terms of bonuses to sports personnel.”

Forecasts suggest a revenue of €752m (£675m) for 2018/19, as the club enter a different era.

In the 2017-18 campaign, Real not only won the Champions League but also the FIFA Club World Cup and European and Spanish Super Cups.
