More often than not, people just have the notion that traditional marriages among the Efik people is expensive even though some people have attempted to differentiate between how it is done in cross river and Akwa Ibom. please anybody with concrete info should help enlighten us (wholesome estimates) about traditional marriage rights among the Efik people of cross river states. Where are all the "they are selling their daughters" , "they charge too much"....? Let's provide credible info for the sake of posterity. A lot of young people just consider these areas a no go area just because of what they heard. This is a chance to set records straght.
