Shekarau first unseated him in 2003 as a common teacher not in 2007 although he repeated it then.in 2011,shekarau's candidate takai lost to kwankwaso by a mere 50,000 votes after buhari withdrew from supporting shekarau and anpp while rabiu was using buhari name to campaign indirectly.
Kwankwaso as a presidential candidate had 500,000 while goodluck had 400,000.by my estimation,both kwankwaso and shekarau are worth the same electoral value which is 500k votes.the least buhari gets in kano is 1.6 million.expect buhari to poll over 2 million

It is also the same reason pdp usually gets bloc votes from ss/se.only edo state resisted and gej won there narrowly while rochas and amechi were taken unawares.apc simply allowed pdp have their way in other states,they didnt even have the resources to mount any resistance.things will be different next year.apc have started mounting resistance in ss/se already and may even take the initiative in proactiveness.mere popularity of candidates and parties are not enough,other factors must follow

I keep telling people 2019 will be a shocker. This SE & SS guys are busy focusing on how to divide northern votes and not paying attention to the crack in their backyards. Apc will surely perform better in this zones. The wise ones are already aligning.

I have been having such premonitions.buhari may win up to three states here.people are becoming very enlightened.between rivers,delta,akwa ibom,cross river apc should have two governors here.pdp may likely lose abia.

It is legally right for APC to strip Kwankwaso of his senatorial seat because the ballot victory belongs to APC, however, unless Shakarau is in same constituency that delivered the victory, in which case he can then assume the seat with no legal recourse, relocating a constituency's senate seat to another constituency is a robbery. The party is in this case robbing the constituency of its voting bloc and i dont think its legally possible to pull through.
