If an Ex-Governor of your State is in the current 8th Senate please respond with Name and State. Also, if an outgoing Governor in your state is already campaining to seek election into the 9th Senate, which starts in 2019, please give Name and State. We have cases of persons who were in Senate, became Governor, and now want to go back to Senate. No ex Governor from my State, Lagos, is in 8th Senate, or planning to go into 9th Senate. There is an indirect relationship between political office tenure and ability of State's to pay workers salary and it needs to be discussed. Take for instance a State that pays an ex Governor 100million naira as pension and then they go to Senate for triple that amount. Anyone in a full time political office should earn one pay only, not several. The money paid by States to ex-Governors in Senate can be re-directed to pay civil service workers salary. It is so bad that some States even have two past Governors sitting concurrently as legislators in Senate. |

Uduaghan was a Governor now compaigning for senatorial seat under APC. I wonder what these men wants. A man who was asked about the legacy he left in Delta State, he said maternal health care, but he own's one of the best hospitals in China. |

I think Ajimobi was a Senator. He became Governor, now wants to go back to Senate. I suspect he will later express interest to contest for Governor few years from now. Oyo, Ekiti and Ogun are just recycling Governors. Same names and faces for past 16yrs. |
