Any candidate that purchased nomination form to contest the guber seat in lagos is just wasting his or her time.

Ambode has performed creditably well and deserves an outright second term. However, I think everyone reserves the right to market themselves so when the sharing comes they will be carried along. Again who knows after Ambode might have finished his second term, He Jide will be considered.

Ambode has done well, but Lagos deserves better. Whoever will keep Lagos clean, prevent flooding, completes the rail project and at least initiate the 4th Mainland Bridge, has my support. It doesn't matter whether the person is Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo or Lebanese...

I wish Ambode can lose APC primaries. So that he can port to another Party and clean Lagos of every rats and cockroaches feeding fat on the peoples commonwealth.

Lagos one month IGR would be enough to chase out the old rogues in Lagos!!

Some faces I see in the photo actually suggest Tinubu is behind this man. Cardinal Odunmbaku Baba eto and others.

If direct primary is conducted in Lagos APC, Ambode will lose.

Preparing him for 2023. One term is a slap to APC if a sitting governor loses in primary except he opts out not to contest for 'medical reasons' or 'higher political post' only.

Ambode is a failure. Go to Lagos, he has destroyed all the roads and not serious in repairing them.

He just contracted his boys to be bulldozing all Lagos roads at the same time without allocating enough resources and instruction for the contractors to finish these roads on time so Lagosians can have free movement that makes Lagos so unproductive and dirty lipsrsealed

Impressive CV. I never knew that Jide was a DGM in a bank until now...

As corrupt as Jagaban is purportedly said to be, he has a knack for attracting solid achievers in the private sector to himself and building them through his illustrious leadership chain!

The huge achievements and impressive profiles of his retinue of acolytes in the private sector before they venture into public service say a lot about his (Tinubu’s) leadership acumen and capacity.

If for nothing else, I respect him for that- no politician in Nigeria of today, is close to him in that regard.

Meanwhile, I have read a lot of emotional outbursts on this thread, with some writting balderdash about Tinubu preparing to be disgraced, etc. Take it to the bank- Tinubu is only making a public show of telling Ambode to remember that someone (he) put him there, and for him to “behave well”.

Tinubu’s support for Ambode’s 2nd term is 100%. He used a similar approach to make Fashola to “behave well” ahead of 2011 elections and “forgave” Fashola subsequently, and announced his support for Fashola’s 2nd term with glee and media razzmatazz.

If you know; you know, lol.

I wholeheartedly support Jide, he's a man of proven integrity. Ambode should step-down for him or port to another party if he can't obey or respect his elders in APC for him to do one term

Which elders? What is the duty of a public officer? In whose interest does Ambode supposed to serve? Ambode owe all lagosians and I think he's rightly discharging his duties.

dont think he will lose to Ambode. Ambode is not the best for Lagis state. Yoke of 2nd term syndrome should be broken. Party think tanks, civil servants, people in the know are not happy with Ambode, not because of giving or not giving money, but because ambode is too rude and crude for that office just like his wife.

Ambode got tinubu's body language and was reluctant to buy the APC nominations form thereby sparking speculations he will defect, tinubu noticed he myt go away nd win with his authority as governor from another pair and thereby offered him the olive branch, ambode felt comforted nd fell for it..
immediately he purchased the form, granted he can't cross carpet anymore, tinubu set machinery in place and put up support for a nu guy whom he encourage to get a form...now all he need to do is simply defeat ambode at the primary level and ambode us finished.
except pdp can save him now,by jettison of thier candidates and adopt ambode so as to use his incumbent power nd love of the ppl to defeat tinubu....
ambode is finished!!!!!!!
