  A man has been arrested for having breakfast with his female coworker at a hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In a 30-second self-filmed video clip that went viral on Twitter since its release on Sunday, the man was seen sharing a meal while joking with his female colleague in full Islamic niqab, with the later appearing to feed him at the end of what the Saudi authorities have called an “offensive” footage. The man, who was identified as an Egyptian national by local media, was later taken into custody by Saudi Ministry of Labor and Social Development over allegations of “committing several violations and taking up a post exclusively reserved for Saudis,” the Guardian reported, citing the ministry. news source: https://news.freepopulation.com/2018/09/11/man-arrested/ |
