Russia again accuses the Syrian rebels of preparing a false chemical attack. According to Moscow, insurgent groups that control the province of Idleb want to stage an attack to make believe that the Syrian regime gauze civilians. A classic scenario according to Moscow, whose aim is to entail Western retaliation against the forces of Bashar al-Assad.
Since the beginning of the war in Syria, Western countries have repeatedly accused the Damascus regime of using chemical weapons against its own people.
Protected by the Russian ally who systematically blocked UN investigations, the Syrian authorities have never been worried.
