The haters and their ignorance

Lateef Kayode Are
Retired Nigerian Army colonel who was Director General of the Nigerian Security Service (SSS) from 1999 to 2007, hailed from Ikoyi in Lagos State.

He was appointed as the DG SSS by president Olusegun Obasanjo and he served as the DG SSS throughout Obasanjo two terms (1999 - 2007)

Afakryia Gadzama
Hailed from Lassa Askira, Born State of Nigeria. He was appointed as the DG SSS in August, 2007 by president Umoru Yar'Adua, he served from August 2007 to September, 2010 when his appointment was terminated by Good luck Jonathan administration.

Ita Esien Ekpeyaong

Hailed from Cross River State, Nigeria. He was appointed as DG SSS on the 7th September 2010 by the president Good luck Jonathan after sacking Afakriya. Esien remained the DG SSS until 2nd July 2015 before he was sacked.

Hailed from Daura, Katsina State, Nigeria. He was appointed as the DG SSS by president muhammadu Buhari from 2nd July, 2015 to 7th August, 2018, when he was sacked by the acting president, Professor Yemi Osibanjo.

Mathew Benaba Seiyefa

Hailed from Bayelsa State of Nigeria. As the most senior officer at the SSS after Daura, he was appointed as the DG in acting capacity by the acting president Yemi Osibanjo from 7th August, 2018 to 14 September, 2018.

Yusuf Magaji Bichi

Hailed from Kano State to replace Mathew Seiyefa (from Bayelsa) as the DG SSS with effect from 14th September, 2018 till further notice.

Looking at the trends in the appointment of the DG SSS it is clear Nepotism is not a monopoly of any president.

What then is his offence
Why are Nigerians, especially wailers from South - South Ranting and naming Buhari victim of Nepotism, ethnic and religious bigot.

It is obvious that this administration has indeed exposed the Nigerian enemies hidden under any guise. What ever you call it, no government has ever witnessed such free support by progressive across the nation.
If his offence is preserving, protecting and presiding over our common patrimony, then many Nigerians would want more of him to come.

No president has appointed any DG SSS outside his region and ethnicity since 1999 till date. Why is that so is for you to lament. What then is Buhari's offence? Why his own different from others?

I pray I should witness the day President Muhammadu Buhari slainers commending him over his heroic action and inaction

Seiyefa knows his appointment was temporary , he was the most senior officer as at when Daura was sacked , i do not get why these people enjoy wailing so much
