Delta State Governor Aide on Media Mr Ossai Ovie Success has said the achievements of the Delta State Governor Sen Ifeanyi Okowa on youths development are unprecedented.

The Aide Ossai who narrated the Governor achievements in the past three years in youths development noted that the Governor has empowered thousands of Youths who are now millionaires.

"The State Job Creation programmes has affected thousands of Delta Youths and has made them millionaires.

This is because of Gov Okowa commitment to youths development in the state.

The governor believes the youths are the bedrock for the socio-economic transformation of Delta State.

Since Gov Okowa assumed office, he has formulated policies, programmes and projects aimed at addressing youth unemployment and restiveness in the State.

Due to the prudent management of resources by Gov Ifeanyi Okowa, Over 40,000 unemployed youths have been transformed into owners of businesses and employers of labour via the Okowa’s job creation scheme.

The Governor's youth empowerment Programme has yielded fruitful result due to the Governor's determination to redirecting our youths from being job seekers to job creators and thereby reducing the rate of unemployment in the state." he stated, while calling on youths to embrace peace.
