The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has denied solidifying the ledgers of Sen. Ademola Adeleke and those of his relatives, including well known artist, Davido.

Adeleke is the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) hopeful in the Sept. 22 governorship race in Osun.

Representative of the commission, Mr Wilson Uwujaren, in an announcement on Sunday, said media productions asserting the record solidify by the EFCC were false.

"The commission approaches individuals the general population to ignore the report, which is evidently false and imagined to dress the organization with a divided attire in the unfurling political challenge in Osun State.

"For the evasion of uncertainty, at no time did the EFCC submit a stop request on any record having a place with individuals from the Adeleke family.

"The indicated solidify arrange which has sadly been opened up by malleable areas of the media with no endeavor at affirmation, is outsider to the commission and another case of phony news.

"The EFCC glares at the appearing endeavors by anonymous powers to drag it into the political shred," he said.

Uwujaren repeated the commission's "lack of bias as a law authorization association that is pledged to maintain the law constantly, regardless whose intrigue is in question".
