With only 4 matches before the FIFA World Cup in SA comes to an end, I believe that we can already have a very good idea of the what players will feature in the team of the tournament.

Here's my guess:

                      Stekelenburg

                  Lugano          Juan
Maicon                                         Lahm

                      Schweinsteiger
                Sneijder            Oezil

        Mueller            Forlan            Villa


- Stekelenburg: He has made very important saves, has conceeded only 2 and is yet to have made any spills (unlike Neuer);

- Maicon: Undoutably Brazil's best player in this WC. Very sharp and powerful going upfront and also very solid at the back;

- Lugano: The Uruguayan skipper. He symbolizes the main asset of his team: its defense;

- Juan: Very precious to the Brazilian back four. Always available to cover up for the ever attack-minded Lucio. Also a master in the art of anticipation;

- Lahm: The tireless and versatile full-back has had a formidable outing so far and is the soul the young German side;

- Schweinsteiger: If Lahm is the soul of the Nationalmannshaft "Schweini" is its motor. The 25 year old has brought a blend of freshness and experience in the midfield;

- Sneijder: He plays a more attacking role with the Oranje but is able to hold the ball quite comfortably with his technical prouess. On top of that he can score goals, from any sort of range!

- Oezil: Germany's maestro. He moves around the pitch looking like he is always dragging his feet. But that is a terrible misinterpretation of his game. He has a fantastic vision and a wonderful touch that has produced many goal-assists for his partners;

- Mueller: THE revelation of the tournament. Barely 20 years old, this young man who was dubbed "ball boy" by legend Maradona has proved to the entire world that he can do more than retreive lost balls for others. He has 3 assists and 4 goals to his name. He has been capped only 7 times for his country. Yeah, just that. . .

- Forlan: For me he is simply the best thing that has happened to the WC this year. Skill, shots, passes he has 'em all.

- Villa: Spain has scored 6 goals so far. Villa scored 5 and made an assist. 'Nuff said.
