Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi speaking to Delta North in the Senate has said that he was never welcomed any board in opposition to gossip flowing in the media.

Reports in some online media on Thursday that "The Special Presidential Investigation Panel for the Recovery of Public Property has anchored a warrant of capture against troubled Delta Senator, Peter Nwaoboshi, for asserted connivance, preoccupation of open assets and authority debasement".

It additionally said to a limited extent that "A Wuse Zone 2 Magistrates' Court, Abuja, issued the warrant dated Sept. 18 and marked by Akanni Olaide, the Chief District Judge II, FCT".

Yet, his legal counselor, Mr Augustine Mowah, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Asaba that there was no letter welcoming him to any board.

Mowah said that the Senator wound up mindful that there was a production going round online on Thursday that a Magistrates' Court in Abuja issued a warrant in regard of Nwaoboshi for neglecting to show up before a board on recuperation of properties on welcome.
