Senator Magnus Abe has been successfully screened and cleared by APC Governorship Screening Panel to contest the Governorship primaries of Rivers All Progressive Congress slated for the 29th of this month.
It was gathered that Abe and one other aspirant of the All Progressive Congress in Rivers State were cleared in the early hours of Yesterday.

However, the Candidate of the Former Governor of Rivers State has not been cleared by the Screening Panel.

When newsmen enquired from a Top Leader of the APC in Rivers State, the source said the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress(APC) Comrade Adams Oshiomele, Senator Magnus Abe and the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi are meeting over the Governorship ticket of the Party.
