Gboyega Oyetola, candidate of the APC in the September 22 governorship election in Osun State, is maintaining a slight lead over Senator Ademola Adeleke of the PDP and Iyiola Omisore of the SDP respectively, at the time of filing this story.

Pulse can report that with 25 percent of the votes in, Oyetola has polled 39.6 percent, Adeleke of the PDP has polled 35.9 percent, Omisore has garnered 18 percent and Moshood Adeoti of the ADP has polled 6.5 percent.

From the Pulse situation room, the APC candidate currently has a 5,000 vote lead over Adeleke, his closest challenger.

The APC is currently winning in its strongholds of Olorunda, Osogbo and Ilesa, while the PDP is running away with majority of the votes in Ede and elsewhere.

Surprisingly, Adeleke is doing well in Ilesa, the home of the incumbent governor who belongs in the APC.

ADP’s Adeoti is eating away at Adeleke’s votes in Iwo and Omisore is doing well in his Ife base.

Incumbent Governor Rauf Aregbesola will complete his two terms of eight years in office on November 27, 2018.

Pulse will keep you up to date on the Osun election as votes from the 30 local governments in Osun are collated and announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Should there be a need for a rerun between APC and PDP, then APC had better kiss the election goodbye.

Omisore is splitting PDP votes as envisaged.

The truth is that PDP might win more L.Gs than APC but PDP will still lose at the end of the day. PDP is coming distant third in Adeoti and Omisore's strong hold.

APC is also winning in most populated L.Gs like Osogbo, Olorunda, Ejigbo and Iwo.

A simple alliance between SDP and PDP would have been disastrous to APC but it never happens

Osun News Alert

APC,Aregbesola Tampering with Osogbo Results  -Adeleke Campaigns

Following our recent alarm  against the manipulation of Osun results,we again  alert the the public of an ongoing plot to change the results of Osogbo Ward 4 & 5 which are already won by the PDP.

Both wards have the highest voting figures in Osogbo local government and results from our party agents showed that PDP has won in those wards.

The electoral commission has however refused to release the results due to pressure from the state governor and the ruling party

Similar developments took place at Esa Oke until the youth of the area resisted the manipulation plots. We warn against pushing our people to resort to self help.

As results are been collated across the state ,we demand utmost fair play and transparency from the electoral body.We are watching and monitoring closely. Under no circumstance should the collation process be manipulated.

Our agents and leaders are on their toes armed with relevant results and forms. The will of the people must be respected. We task INEC and security agencies to obey the directive of President Muhammad Buhari who had ordered that the Osun electoral process should never be manipulated by federal or any related agencies.

We call on local and international observers to take note of the ongoing process and assist the people of Osun state to realise the supremacy of their electoral will.

Our people should also be ever vigilant to protect their votes and their aspirations for better life.

Signed

Olawale Rasheed ,
Director of Media & Publicity

APC don win, Buhari 2019 is already in the bag, SECURED..

All PDP drama is warming up against 2023, Saraki knows it , Tambuwal does too, hence they moved quickly so it won't be used against them if they move after elections have been won & lost.....
Many of their rabid "fans" are too blinded by hate & bigotry to see beyond their noses..... what a shame.

No, he's not leading with Seven Hundred Thousand votes, he's leading with Seven Million votes.

By the time they add the votes from Abakaliki North and Alabiabia East, plus Lower Iweka, it would reach 20 million votes.
