Ambode Appeal For Hijab Regulation by winemed: 10:12pm On Sep 23, 2018
The Muslim Students' Association of Nigeria, Lagos State Area Unit, has asked Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to protect the rule of law by appealing to the Court of Appeals that regulate hijab use in Lagos.

MSSN Lagos, in a petition filed with Ambode and filed on Tuesday, September 19, noted that on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at 1:06 pm, an existing judgment of the Court of Appeal in the case of the government of State Assiyat v Lagos and clarify that wearing hijab by students, whether inside or outside the school premises, was a fundamental human right enshrined in the Constitution.

In the petition, the MSSN accused the Lagos State Government of lawlessness, noting that it should obey the Court of Appeal ruling on hijab by issuing a circular to all District heads and principals to allow students put on the hijab.

The student-based organisation said that principals would continue to harass and victimise its members with the argument that there was no official correspondence asking them to permit it.

The petition read in part: “The ongoing harassment of our members is not only unconstitutional, an infringement, but also a contempt.

“The wave of discrimination, harassment and maltreatment have begun to rear its ugly head in different schools in Lagos State again despite the subsisting Court of Appeal ruling. The recent lawlessness and disregard for rule of law are exhibited by officials of the Lagos State Government, who claimed to be acting on the order of their superiors in the Civil Service.

Now this is their plan. I said it before that the travail Ambode is facing is purely because of his religion. Now this is their alibi they want to use either to coerce him to their will or to crusify him as an infidel. Anyway all you secret forces including Bubu and Tubu; your end is just a second away.
Buhari, a good man with bad intentions.
