Two Nigerian soldiers were recently killed during a military operation against the Boko Haram sect in Borno state. The gallant military men were gunned down during a gun battle with the insurgents as some soldiers sustained injuries, according to reports. 

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Army on Monday killed seven insurgents and rescued 73 persons in two separate clearance in operations Sirdawala and Valley of Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno.

Brigadier General Texas Chukwu disclosed this in a statement released in Maiduguri.

Chukwu said the operations were conducted by the troops of 121 Battalion after they were tipped through intelligence information that the insurgents were hibernating around Pulka area.

He explained that the troops, in rare display of professionalism, tactically located, engaged and neutralised the terrorists within the community.

It is normal for a soldier to die in battles even if they are better equipped than any army in the world that doesn't make them immortal, being well equipped is just to limit the number of soldiers that will die, it doesn't mean they are immune against dealth get that into your skull..... and if no one is joining the army to protect you Cowards .... by now it would have been written in the constitution to join the Army by force and serve your country whether you like it or not ......
