That's expensive. How are you even sure that the 289000 is the real mileage. I'll advise you to take the chassis number of the car and run an auto check on the car. The car is from the USA so that is 289,000 Miles, the mileage is significantly above average for an 11 year old car, but you should consider the complete history as well as the physical condition, not just the mileage.

Have you gotten a VIN report for the vehicle? Also is the car still in the USA or in Nigeria?

Looks can be deceiving.

Mileage is high but that doesn't mean the vehicle will is bad ,all depends on the service history report of the vehicle

If the car is a Clean title with good service history (as am guessing); then it's a fair deal no matter the mileage. Note, you can still bargain it down as the seller might not get such an amount selling in the USA.

I hope the #2.4m is total cost including customs clearance.

Just so you know, you can get a standard salvage with good service history and good mileage for less (just make sure it's not mileage roll-back).
