I presume that APC have gotten what they wanted from Omisore, so they can renege on promises. Who cares and who lost - Omisore!! Omisore has little to lose to be honest. He already lost the election to 2 other parties. However, his followers tipped the scale, even though he was no longer in the race. He was the deciding factor. Na dem dey rush am. He was a bride for a few days. Nobody will ever overlook him again when it comes to Osun politics. He left pdp a party with a solid structure and within 3 months gathered such an amount of followers to SDP. Nobody realised his importance till the last minute. PDP mocked him to go and nothing would come out of his defection. Why did they allow him to leave? Even APC didn't realise how vital Omisore could be. Nobody did. Now, not only is he seen as a strong force, he is also now in alignment with the ruling I'm very sure they gave him a huge sum of money, offered him some posts in the govt, and also agreed to use some of his policies.
