Contrary to reports that Bola Tinubu has forgiven Akinwunmi Ambode and will now endorse him for a second term, there are no plans for this.

The Feud between the two had escalated to the point where Tinubu had already endorsed another candidate, vowing to keep Ambode’s tenure to one term.

Despite repeated attempts from the Lagos state Governor to patch things up, it seems things are still the same.

According to a Naij.com report, an unnamed APC chieftain said that the stories of a reconciliation was from the Lagos State Governor’s camp and that there is no truth in it.

“Ambode’s camp is desperately trying to mislead Lagosians with these stories,” said the Chieftain.

The Ambode camp just rose from a meeting and agreed to publish a news story that Asiwaju is set to endorse and anoint Ambode in the early hours of Saturday morning before the primaries. There has been no meeting between Asiwaju and Ambode. This story is concocted and a lie from the pit of hell.

“The aim of this is to misinform the electorate in Lagos and to cause confusion. A number of similar false publications are already in the works.”

According to Pulse, another source was contacted for a comment on the story also corroborated and said that the rumours of a reconciliation were simply untrue.

“The claim of an endorsement is a total fallacy. It’s not going to happen. The governor has challenged the people of Lagos to a fight. Let him face it.” he said.

The Lagos State Governor tried to get back in Tinubu’s good books even employing the first lady, Aisha Buhari along with the Oba of Lagos and so on to try and talk things over with the APC Kingmaker, but it was all for naught and it is quite likely that Ambode will be going into the APC primaries bereft of the support of one of the most influential people in the party.

If I were the Governor, I would haved decamped by now, by now and you would have seen APC leaders in Lagos would be divided with blamblaming each other of one man acting as if he is the alpha and omega, so many people would haveed followed him out of APC, then all what APC members are benefiting from LSG should be taken away and give to the party members you decamp to, if you have decamped to PDP before now it would have been better and those APC leader by would haved being having sleepless night.
