Aerobic exercise is essential for reducing belly fat but most people really don't understand what it really means. For fat to be burned oxygen has to be present, if it is not present then the activity is anaerobic. In order to burn fat effectively, you also have to do the most effective exercises to reduce belly fat.


1. Squats with Dumbbell swings - Grab a dumbbell with both hands. Hold your arms down straight with the dumbbell between your legs. Stand with legs apart and go into a squat. Make sure to keep your back straight at all times.

When you push yourself up to the starting position, swing the dumbbell up in an arc until it is well above your head. You've worked your legs, buttocks, and upper body in a single exercise which is going to be very hard to do and is an excellent fat burner.

2. Mountain Climbers - This is an exercise that combines cardio with strength. Assume a push-up position. Bend one knee and bring your leg forward on the floor as if you were climbing a mountain, only the face of the mountain is the floor.

Once you're at this position you can begin. Alternate quickly between your legs, bringing the other forward while sending the first back and straightening it. It's okay for your butt to rise during this exercise but don't bend your back. Do this exercise quickly as possible until it wears you out. You should be sweating by now.

3. Lunges by bicep curls - I love complex exercises since they burn more fat. In this exercise you hold a dumbbell in each hand. Do a lunge with arms straight down at the sides of your body. When you risk to the starting position, also do a bicep curl to complete the movement.

There are many more exercises that reduce stomach and body fat. These 3 are a good place to start.



The simple fact is, exercising for fat-burning is not about spending hours in the gym everyday. This is because fat loss is dependent on intensity—not time. Yes, it’s true you can lose weight spending an hour or so on the treadmill—but you’re never going to get rid of the stubborn body fat that way.
