The leading aspirant, Engr Seyi Makinde has finally emerged as Peoples Democratic Party, PDP gubernatorial candidate ahead of the 2019 election in Oyo state.

Voting ends at Liberty Stadium, Seyi Makinde had a total of 2,772 votes while Senator Ayo Adeseun had 21 votes. Void votes were 145.
