Acting is basically taking over the role of another character, whether afiction or a real personality that lives or ones lived. Many people think that acting is when you simply mimic what you read on a script or improvise on your own but that’s what they call pretending and it isn’t real acting. If acting was that easy, everyone would probably be called an actor. Acting is like writing; everyone can write, but not everyone can convince with their writing. Acting requires real passion for it to be convincing, or else you fall into the category that generalizes acting as if it was the same thing as pretending. If acting and pretending was the same, they wouldn’t be separate words. Ever asked why Hollywood is no. 1 in the world? Their films is just the most convincing ones. Most of their films are realistic and their actors know how to convince. Most of the time it is hard to believe that they’re living another live behind the camera…

So what does it require to get a certificate as an actor?

First of all, you need a check trough. Are you sure that you are passionate about acting? If not then it Is advisable for you to figure out what you really want and follow that line. But if acting really is your passion then you are very welcome to this industry.
Drop the shyness and expose your boldness. As an actor the least thing you need is insecurity. You need to be bold enough to even stand in front of a million people and act without caring whether all eyes are on you. Make sure you’re confident and bold enough to handle mass communication.

If you got these points straight you can surely move to the next step.

Find a good academy or training program
Don’t call yourself a professional actor only because you have the talent. To learn more about acting practically with experts is always better than directly stepping into the industry. Although you might have researched and read a lot about professional acting, do you know how to turn these things into practice? Reading aloneisn’t enough, you need to learn it practically. There are many things you need to learn about acting and what you find online are only the basics for amateurs. But if you really want to be a professional in future, who acts in top film in the country or eventually international, you can’t escape the fact that you need to undergo a detailed acting training that can really give you all the information and skillsets you need to reach your goal.
When you search for academies or training programs, make sure you look for trustable ones. Don’t waste your time on online training programs because you won’t get all you need. Look for a physical school or trainer that can really give you what you want and need to know.In these schools or training programs you will learn how acting auditions work. Schools like J-World Academy teach their students how to act and how to become successful as an actor. During your time at school, you will work on projects in your classes and your talent will built its way to the professional level.By the way, learning in classes and practical training can build your confidence and boldness that is required to act on set.
Once you get your certificate, you’re ready to go. Start small, attend to auditions. Turn into practice what you’ve learned at school.

But how can you become successful as an actor?
After you have lifted your skills to the professional level, you need a start point for your career. Where to start from? Of course it isn’t that easy to get into the industry. That’s why redirecting you to a school is the best option. In such schools you can learn all the information that can help you start off your career. Find a school that help their students get successful. Like J-World Film Academy https://www.jworldfilmacademy.com.ng which I recommended above. They train and develop their students and use them for big film projects and promote them after the training sessions. They are basically an academy that manage their talents on their own, after they trained them. Getting such schools that support their students and help them to get contracts after training is a huge advantage.

You can never learn enough
Even after training you will still have many things to discover. Challenges may come up as you start your career. But don’t shy away from these challenges. You can make it if you continue hiking towards your goal. Challenges, failures and mistakes are only experiences that drive us further to our goal. If you failed once doesn’t mean that there’s no hope for you to continue. Use the experiences you gain each day to grow in your career. Learn more and research during and after your time at school, and never neglect advice's from others that already have experience even if you’re trained already.

Well I hope you can find the best school in which you’ll get a certificate to start off. But if you still insist to take the online school or research only option then you should know that the certificate might not be as valuable as the ones from physical schools.
