Pen and Peace Ambassadors
COMMEMORATING NIGERIA'S INDEPENDENCE: Pen and Peace Ambassadors join other well meaning Nigerians to celebrate the 58th independence of our cooperate existence as a nation. There is no gain saying that the journey has not been rosy for us but we take solace in the great promise that the country holds for its citizens which I fervently believe will be achieved when we as citizens share a unified sense of purpose and sincere commitment to the Nigerian project. As Nigerians, we should endeavour to play our parts for the development of the country in no little measure. As celebrate this year's independence we therefore call on all constituted authorities to be more dedicated to realising the Nigeria of our dream especially in the area of human capacity development as a sinequanon to nation building. This belief is informed by the fact that a Nation whose human resources are not developed can hardly make meaningful progress. Thus, Edwin Markham posits "In vain we build the city if we do not first build the man". Building the man is at the core of any meaning approach towards attaining societal development. The first step therefore is a radical focus on child's education because it a veritable tool towards a peaceful Nigeria. As a nation we must stand up to our responsibility of educating the child because a literate society is a progressive society. #longlivePenandPeaceAmbassadors.#longliveVoicesintheWilderness.# longlivetheFederalRepublicofNigeria.
