This is simple. They're indirectly paying subsidy. However after the payment they're still have a surplus. The difference now is that NNPC is the source of all refined PMS being imported into Nigeria

But the truth is our government still run to China at the slightest opportunity to borrow huge sums that we never see the usage.

Centuries after, can Nigeria pay back all those useless loans our government is borrowing?

This is why our currency is never appreciated neither is our economy self sufficient.

This is what we always hear, but there is nothing to show for it. trade surplus but you cant remit as stipulated by law into the federal coffer. why? i think these people in government are good at lying to us. surplus of 18.12 billion naira, is there anything to show for it?

Now NNPC is declaring trade surplus. Tomorrow when they talk of under recovery, economic illiterates will be confusing that with subsidy.
