NGO TO TRAIN 10,000 YOUTHS AND UNEMPLOYED NIGERIANS ON SKILL ACCUSATION IN THE FCT AND THE 36 STATES OF NIGERIA.

An NGO in Abuja Sea of Fate Foundation has flagged off its Skill Development and Self Employment Empowerment Programm (SDSEEP) this is to commiserate with the Independence Day celebration.
The Skill Development and self Employment Empowerment Programm is an initiative of SOFF which seeks to empower millions of Nigerians and Africans through skill training and development for decent work and the provision of seed capital for them to startup their own business through partnerships.
Interested applicants will be trained on various skills and supported to become unemployed.

• SOFF Market Place
The SOFF market place will provide the opportunity for beneficiaries to access the global market through our physical monthly trade show and 24 hours online market place to help them sale their goods and services.
• Skilled employee data base
Bio data’s of interested beneficiaries who wish to work with various organisation will be uploaded on our database for organisations to easily access and offer them gainful employment.

Speaking during the organisations advocacy radio Programm SOFF forum on 93.9 Jordan FM, the president of the Non-governmental organisation Mr. Achong said there have pledged to train 10,000 youths in the 36 states and the FCT, this training is in a bid to reduce unemployment and poverty in the country as Nigeria has been ranked as the country with the highest number of people living below the poverty line.
The president said the skill training will cover many sectors which include Agriculture, Catering, Beauty Products, Fashion, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Energy and Photography.
He retreated that this was to equip the teeming youths with the skills to be self employed instead of waiting for jobs which are not readily available.
Mr. Achong also said beneficiaries of this training will have the opportunity to sell their goods and services on the SOFF market place which is a physical Monthly trade show that will be organized by the NGO and their online platform where potential customers can do business with them directly.
He also pledged to source for seed capital to support the beneficiaries to startup their own business; he therefore called on well meaning Nigerians, private and Government Agencies to support this Programm by contributing to the project to assist Nigerian youths in the spirit of the independent day celebration.
He used the opportunity to thank all those that have contributed in one way or the other to make the programme a reality especially the volunteers that have registered to offer training to the youths.
