Its a Nigerian thing...this myth about the "Almighty Toyota" that you can even sell it about the same price you bought it, you can abuse it anyhow you wish & it would still keep on working, any mechanic can repair it...the list goes on!
These fallacies I believe is the reason behind the OP's pricing.
