Governor Akinwunmi Ambode should beg God for forgiveness over his travails, a pastor at the Awaiting The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ Adewale Giwa has said.

Ambode is currently in a battle with his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of its primary election.

He is not enjoying the support of the APC chieftain Bola Tinubu who has instead thrown his weight behind ‘Jide Sanwo-Olu to become the governor in 2019.

In a statement, Giwa said Ambode’s travail was due to the sack of Presiding Chaplain of the Chapel of Christ the Light in Alausa Femi Taiwo.
It was gathered that the cleric angered Ambode’s wife Bolanale who visited the chapel back in May 2017.

Bolanle was angry because the cleric did not give him preferential treatment during the visit.
And Giwa has said Ambode is being punished for his wife’s action and should ask for forgiveness from Buhari.

“God cannot let a sinner go unpunished. I will advise Governor Ambode and his wife to seek God for forgiveness,” Giwa said.

“Their action to remove the person called a Man of God from office is uncalled for.

“From my findings, I was told that despite pleadings from church leaders and other reputable elders, Governor Ambode insisted the cleric must leave the church.

“Can you imagine that some church members reportedly contributed money to buy gas cooker and other household items for the family as they vacated the vicarage?

“Do power and recognition take you to heaven? This is what is happening virtually all over the churches today.

“The moment they see powerful persons in their midsts, they quickly give honour to them. In the case of Venerable Taiwo, he did not do that and got sacked.”

Stupid prophecy. What's special about that woman? All are equal in the sight of God. If she wants special recognition, she should go clubbing not to church.

You can't blame the arrogant woman, she is already use to being treated special by some many hungry pastors, Tinubu wife will even do worst if she is not treated with special honor.
