Real Madrid haven't scored in three matches in a row, something that never happened during Cristiano Ronaldo's time at the club. Keylor Navas discussed the absence of the Portuguese forward in relation to this mini goal drought and admitted it could be having a negative effect. "Cristiano Ronaldo set the bar very high, that's no secret," he said. "You cannot cover the sun with one finger. "But it's in the past now and we can't live off that. "My teammates do the best they can and the goals will come." The next match for Real Madrid will come away at Alaves this weekend, although Navas wasn't sure if he'll start or if Julen Lopetegui would put Thibaut Courtois back in goals. "I don't know if I'll play in Vitoria," he told reporters. "You have to ask the coach about that. "But I'm always prepared to play. "We respect Lopetegui's decisions with regards to the goalkeeping position." In d League dey lost to d like of Girona, Espanyol, Sevilla and even Leganes... D new coach is d problem for now and not Ronaldo.. Nbote: See wahala ooo, do you know Madrid better than Navas and Casmero, even if you don't like Cr7 can't you be objective for once. The All time Top scorer and All time top assists of Madrid left and you think it won't affect the club, go and ask Man Utd since Cr7 left they only manage to play UCL final once. Nbote:I can see you are shallow minded.... so it's the coach that will score for them, lopetuigi is a good coach with nice tactics though he do make wrong changes and Choice sometimes... but what Madrid is lacking is a consistent finisher which they sold without replacing... this is just the beginning they'll suffer more against a more compact and attacking team For God sake u can't be relying on benzema (who is a flop with or without Ronaldo) and bale (who has a glass leg and can't stay 3 months without visiting the hospital) as your main forwards it's just suicide Perez and Madrid will pay dearly for this one ... and for people saying Ronaldo is always overshadowing benzemas performance... Ill just laugh ... some people don't know how to watch football they just turn on their TV and make noise tell me how can a world class traditional "9" go five matches with one shot on target not to talk of scoring a goal.... babakb: Some of U are funny... Before Ronaldo came to Madrid there were players who had come and gone.. Same applies to Man Utd. Attributing d struggles of both clubs to a player leaving is U being objective right?? I guess was d spirit of Ronaldo dat led United to Champions League glory in 1999 as well abi.. Madrid are in deep shit becos dey refused to replace Ronaldo... Every club compensates for d loss of a player by replacing with an equally brilliant player.. Wen Bale and Benzema started d season in full force no one heard anything but becos dey dropped points in consecutive games and it's now all becos of Ronaldo?? |

No doubt Ronaldo is a United Legend but how U ppl now insult clubs jus cos U are fanboys is embarassing.. United signed Ronaldo in August 2003 and den dey won d league 4yrs later... United won d champions league 5yrs (2008) later via a penalty kick despite Ronaldo missing his own kick and in 2009 United lost d champions league to Barca who dey knocked out in d semi final d previous year. In 9 years at United Ronaldo scored 15 goals in d champions league so please help me understand how Man Utd No longer gets to d final becos Ronaldo left... |

No doubt about this, Cr7 is a quality player. It's normal for any club to feel the absence of such kind of player. It's now the work of the coach to work things out in his best way, at least there are still good players in Madrid...
