David De Gea is ‘fed up’ with Jose Mourinho’s reign at Manchester United, according to reports.

Mourinho is under pressure to turn around United’s current muddle as the team have not won in their last four games.

They were booed off the pitch by some supporters after their goalless draw with Valencia in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

Mourinho is also losing his battle in the dressing room, with reports claiming that several United players believe that the 55-year-old will be sacked.

Paul Pogba was involved in a tense exchange with Mourinho during training last week and was also told by the manager that he would never captain United again.

Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial, and Eric Bailly have also been publicly criticized by Mourinho, while the United manager has also angered Alexis Sanchez after dropping the Chilean from the match day squad for the defeat to West Ham last Saturday.

According to ‘The Sun’, De Gea is now among the United players who have grown tired of Mourinho’s tenure and the report claims that the Spanish goalkeeper is ‘fed up’ with the current situation at Old Trafford.

The 27-year-old, who has won United’s Player of the Year award four times in the last five years, has entered the final year of his current contract, although United do hold the option of a 12-month extension.

Speaking last month about a possible extension, De Gea said: ‘I feel really loved at his club from the fans from all the people who are for this club.

‘I am really happy to play for this club, one of best clubs in the world, so for me really good to be part of this club.’ United have the chance to end their slump when they host Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday.

Manchester United sit 10th on the Premier League table behind Leicester, Watford, Cardiff and Wolves and will hope to push up the ranking after the weekend’s game.

"It would be nice for us to count some players among those who were given awards, but football is a team sport and we will face this Champions League with great determination."
