The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) has approached government at all levels to guarantee instructors are compensated legitimately and immediately to empower them to offer quality and compelling administration.

The Secretary General, NUT, Dr Mike Ike-Ene, decided in a meeting with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Thursday against the background of the festival of World Teachers' Day.

Ike-Ene said that if appropriately compensated and quickly paid, educators would be propelled to give their best toward country building.
