THE IMPORTANCE OF HEALTHY BREAKFAST
Breakfast is an important part of our daily meal. Therefore, there should be a deliberate breakfast plan. Inability to make this plan can affect one's health negatively. Maximum attention to breakfast will enable you to eat those foods that will benefit your body by aiding weight loss and improving fitness. During the night the metabolic process is always going on, and it is proper that you eat well in the morning for the process to continue unhindered. If you skip breakfast, you have the propensity to overeat later in the day and this is not good for your body.
To improve your health and fitness through breakfast, it must be low in carbohydrates and fat and high in protein and fiber. It is recommended that you get somewhere around 7 to 10 grams of fiber during breakfast. You should get 38 grams of fiber (for men) and 25 grams of fiber (for women) daily.
A breakfast that is high in protein will create satiety and may prevent you from taking snacks later on in the day. Your breakfast provide needed energy for the activities of the day. Research has shown that students who eat healthy breakfast perform better in school. It can also improve fitness. With the help of good breakfast, workers can be more productive, achieve mental clarity and improve their problem-solving skills.
These are some of the foods you can include in your breakfast: egg omelette; mushrooms; spinach; cinnamon; quinoa flake cereal; apples; flaxseeds; scrambled tofu; fresh herbs; tomatoes; scrambled eggs; avocado, sourdough; spelt flour pancakes; and natural yogurt.
