No coach can help man u with these players. Total clean-up is required.
They should pick from the Club academy.....young stars.. .and a couch that impose love and fear towards the players

What is Manchester United known for.. ...what is the feeling you get as an opponent to challenge them.. ..how many trophies are they proud of.. ..and what type of toughness, doggedness and winning mentality do the players had?

That sh*t just doesn't work now. It worked back then in the league when there where too many unfit men the boys could over-run. Arsenal is a good example they've tried that for donkey years and got only a couple of FA and Carling cup's to show got it. When it comes to ECL and EPL, the big boys always turn them small boys into window leaders.

Sell off low quality players, don't be under pressure to start the young ones like Chelsea, Madrid, man city etc do, buy more quality. It's surprising how big team around the world don't lay emphasize on playing small boys but quality while Manu board and fans and drooling over small boys as if it's a trophy yet expect similar result as other big team. Whenever Manu starts a game with any two of Lingard, Martial, Mctominay and Rashford they end up begging for draw. Those boys should be loaned, played in Carling cups, used as reserve or started once in a while like other successful big teams do. A starting line up of small boys is a psychological negative to the team as as opponents dont fear small boys. Infact opposing teams become more confident whenever they see a line up of small boys. That come-back in the last was made by loading the big boys.

Lastly, Lukaku is not only a small boy but a joke. 5 goals between Manu and Newcastle and he had no attempt off target for 90 min. Before he was bought I kept saying he lacks the composure, positional sense and skill to be a big team star. He only scores against teams with poor defense and 99% of his goals are either cross and nod or tap-in from 8 yards -no individual brilliance. Thats where Mourinho can be blamed, he should only play him against small teams with weak opponents. Better striker required.

Well you are right in some areas but don't generalise, I can't imagine Rashfor and the likes playing like this under Alex Ferguson, he has the discipline. In fact Alex Ferguson used young players during his victorious days. He has an indept knowledge of who you are from memorizing your name to understanding your temperament. ...i don't know if you have read Alex Ferguson biography.. .he has that gift. He is like a father hot and cold. He knows about each player and position them in the right place. Today's report has it that pogba was the person that told mouriho to change tactics against Blackburn, mouriho had to ask the team what should be done in the second half, when they were 2 goals down.
Alex Ferguson has never done that. Instead they have a trust in him to impact, it's either he shouts, encourage or change tactics and they follow it the out come is amazing.
I believe the coach is responsible for manu progress. And a coach must have that boss, father, friend, and natural gift of understanding his team with the ability to read matches. ...that coach can met up with manu standard.
I think zidane is the man we need.
I watch manu dressing room. ..chai they play a lot especially podga...unlike before
Starting a team from the academy, will help unite the team more cause they will better understand them selves.

Are you saying Mourinho who has won two champion leagues and all the big local leagues +a host of other trophies does not know how to change tactics or is not big enough for Man u? Because he asked for inputs from the players does not mean he is bereft of ideas. It can easily be he wants to access their understanding of the game, to encourage to be thinkers too not just players, to make them feel more technically resposible and involved. Why didnt Van Gall deliver? Was he also not big enough? Why is it so hard for you to see that its the players who are not big enough? If Mourinho is not big enough for Manu is it Rasford that is? Which of them small boys the Manu board is coercing Mourinho to start regularly will make even the bench in Madrid, Barca , Chelsea or Mancity? But you want to win like them with average small small boys.

What generalization are you talking of? When at half-time break , with 2-0 down, generation-old fans were hailing Mourinho and booing the players, did you think they (those fans) were collectively high on stupid at thesame time? Zidane did all he did with finest matured well proven players that's not a guarantee he can do much with these smal small boys.

On what Fergie did then and academy players, did you read or understand any of these at all - That sh*t doesn't work anymore nowadays because every team has physical fit players. It worked back then in the league when there where too many unfit men the boys could over-run. Arsenal is a good example they've tried that for donkey years and got only a couple of FA and Carling cup's to show got it. Why tie your brain on out of touch expired ideology against and instead of appreciating the present reality glaring at you. What it takes to achieve the success your crave for ManU is already glaringly visible in present day successful teams and its not starting or playing small small unproven wannabe boys if you put aside sentiment and look. In football, realities speak louder than ideologies and fairy tales. Which big time in contemporary times is thriving mainly based on small small unproven academy boys?

Well you made some point. But I believe in gift not age, not how big or how small. I believe a coach should know when he sees talent in respective of age or name. Ronney was found and noticed at a young age, Beckham, Ronaldo,owen,e.t.c
In fact I believe in ''small boys" than those big boys you mentioned.
Small boys when groomed as a coach, you will notice they have hunger for success to prove a point, they have fresh speed and Agility if train properly against them big boys. A good coach like Alex can take these crop of boys manu have presently and tactically turn them to stars.
The other time during training, while the team was preparing for warm up,Mouriho Spoilt the mood of the team with temperamental behaviour while the boys where being Jovial with each other.
I watched an interview where Carrick was talking about the players or strikers, that Wen they miss a goal oppurtunty, they all will look at Alex at the stands out of fear.
Those boys are good but mismanaged.
My point still stands manu needs a coach that Can place that fear, respect, love, understanding as Well as the gift to scout for good players not Big boy, and that as tactical wisdom to change a game around Wen needed.
Like Alex Ferguson.. .not mouriho who is old and his golden days of winning is over.

Already made and proven stars not unproven small boys is what works now. Am dealing with present day realities not hypothesis and past strategies. The present day big boys are agile too and even more. What agility will Mctominay have over Modric in Midfield or Rashford over Ramos?

All your examples are based on the past. Which succeeding big team now can you use as an example for your small academy unproven boys hypothesis? Which big team right now is your prove that your believe in unproven small boys (not just defined by age) is not just a mere delusional attachment to an old school sweet sounding nonsense?

OK let me begin like this.. .Its normal if we have different views.

I have always trusted young players, the advantage is two-fold. One that they'll always remember the person who gave them a start in life, and secondly, they create a loyalty base. There must be a proper structure for the youth system.
Players in the youth who arent good enough.boosted their morale when their spirits were low and cracked the whip when they weren't performing. when a player lost some pace or could no longer perform no matter what his name was he should be sold or offer them free transfers

I will sight the example you asked for, Kylian Mbappé, who injected fresh interest into the Champions League.

You see young players bring unpredictability and excitement. Few outside France knew of the Frenchman’s talent before he burst onto the scene at the turn of the year. Clubs has failed to build on young promise in recent years. There is no longer a regular stream of players making it to the first team.
United announced that Josh Harrop will be joining Preston North End when his contract expires at the end of the month. Harrop leaves having scored a beautiful solo goal versus Crystal Palace on his club debut on the last day of the season, but his chances of making the first team permanently are limited.
In the past five years alone, Ravel Morrison, Paul Pogba, Federico Macheda, Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverly, Tyler Blackett, and Paddy McNair each offered United fans a glimpse of talent, yet all left with a sense of potential unfulfilled. Even youthful acquisitions such as Wilfried Zaha, Nick Powell and Memphis Depay departed having failed to turn talent into performances.
Morrison’s personal issues, for example, made it seemingly impossible for the player to dedicate the required focus on his career. Pogba has proven to be Ferguson’s most costly misjudgement, and with hindsight, maybe the hype afforded to Macheda, Cleverly, Welbeck, Blackett and McNair was unjustified.
Zaha, for example, was not afforded the chance to showcase his mercurial talents despite the £15 million fee. Marcus Rashford and Antony Martial might not fulfil their potential at the club neither truly built on those foundations during Jose Mourinho’s first campaign at the club. The duo enjoyed ample game time last season, but there is a sense that Mourinho’s more conservative tactics have stunted the pair’s growth. Mourinho’s conservative ideology hinders talented youngsters persists.

It fruitless arguing because truly you have lost all sense of the true growth of the game of soccer, because your emotion to win at all cost have clouded your insight to root out problems ,that obviously you can't see.

Your reason for desiring unproven youth players is based on personal sentimental massage of the coach yet you accuse me of the one being emotional. If you want to base your team on youths for the sentimental selfish interest of the coach being remembered by the youths then forget about trophies and winning consistently. The woes of United all these years with senseless experimentation with youthful unproven players is all too glaring as you chronicled yet you want them to continue on the same failed path while ignoring the equally glaring path of basing a team mainly on well proven names as done by ALL succeeding big teams from Madrid to Chelsea PSG Mancity etc. Only a fool does exactly thesame thing thesame way over and over ( based only on sentiments or ego) and expects a different result.

You mentioned players that failed in and failed Manu before Mourinho even came yet blames Mourinho for the failure of unproven youth footballers there. Who reasons like that?

Big teams succeed by having players whose good perfomance can be, to a large extent, predicted. I can predict that Mane, Messi, Hazard, Modric will perform well in 7/10 next games. Thats what makes for consistent results not the unpredictability of Rashford, Martial Mctominay.

The last paragraph applies to you not me as the questions i asked still remiain unanswered - which Succeeding BIG TEAM NOW is based mainly on youthful unproven players to serve as an example of how your out of touch with reality hypothesis is working in REALITY.

I will answer your question again. ...clearly

I believe that the past ALWAYS repeats it's self in the future one way or another. The past I mean is the class of 92,The much-celebrated 1992 Youth Cup-winning side,of Manchester United.
The reason why it will be difficult to see a replica are based on
1. Money and hunger
It’s rare these days that football is discussed without the money being mentioned. Back in the early 1990’s, the average first team player at Old Trafford earned around £8000 per week. These were players who had several years of service with them, like Mark Hughes and Steve Bruce. When Beckham and Scholes signed their first deals, it’s likely they would have earned a fraction of that.
But takes good look at Marcus Rashford recently signed a contract worth a reported £25,000 weekly wage. This was in spite of the fact that he hasn’t yet played 25 games for the club.

Compare the two but focus on the cause.
Back in those days, When those young players got their first team chance, they knew they had to work to keep it. They weren’t signing contracts that would set them up for life. Failure to prove their worth to the team would most likely result in no further contract being offered.
Rashford drop in performance due to his reputation, another club will offer him a contract. None of the class of 92 team had this type of safety net.

2. Desperation for success,Talking about whatthe club has at stake. For instance the champions league, sponsors holds clubs participation important Payment is based on this. So pressure to met top 4 exist, but in those days, only the champions of each country would qualify for it and no sponsor presure. Compare and see the reason why.
That apart let me give you this scenario, imagine if United sold three first choice players now. It is highly unlikely that they would dip into the academy to replace them. Even if the talent is there, the club would still spend big money to fill these positions. The board would expect it, so would the sponsors and the fans, just like they did back then, would too. With the financial rewards that come with Champions League football, the risk would be too great. Louis van Gaal spent around £150 million in his first season just to get back into it.

The Paul Pogba situation is a prime example of this. United have paid a world record transfer fee for the France midfielder. Had they placed their trust in him in 2012, they wouldn’t have had to have done so. When they let him go he was a promising, but UNPROVEN , youngster.

So inconclusion

the answer why you don't see it happen is stated above. Manchester United have always had a big emphasis on youth players. They have featured at least one academy-nurtured player in every matchday squad for almost 80 years. What we need is a very good manager that believes in the youth team.
Goodnight.

The last paragraph applies to you not me as the questions i asked still remiain unanswered - which Succeeding BIG TEAM NOW is based mainly on youthful unproven players to serve as an example of how your out of touch with reality hypothesis is working in REALITY.

a) I will answer your question again. ...clearly

b) I believe that the past ALWAYS repeats it's self in the future one way or another. The past I mean is the class of 92,The much-celebrated 1992 Youth Cup-winning side,of Manchester United.
c) The reason why it will be difficult to see a replica are based on

Goodnight.

@a) You did not answer my question at all .

So all you have is gibberish about the past as usual and can't answer a simple question based on contemporary times to support your expired youth ideology - mention one succeeding BIG TEAM NOW that is based mainly on youthful unproven players to serve as an example of how your out of touch with reality hypothesis is working in REALITY. Good thing football is dynamic and those stuck in the past ideologies should forget about success in the present or future.

You have no business with football and football management with your brain stuck on glaringly expired ideology.

@ b and c - Your believes alone without evidence are useless to the realities of the game and If you cant see how stupidly contradictory those two sentences are then never engage in debates of intellectual value. How can your brain cells not suicide as you reason like this? - Believing and insisting on youth football yet marshaling out reasons how the climate of the game now is so different from time past when youth football worked thats its senseless, ineffective and inatainable to implement this days for big teams.

Lastly, for once talk present reality, which manager NOW is doing so well NOW with a team of mainly UNPROVEN youth footballers?

If you can't answer with a name/s and trophy/trophies then do add "football illiterate" to your middle name fast.
