The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Saturday stated that Nigerians want a presidential candidate who will turn their situation around.

Spokesperson of PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan said this on Saturday during the party’s presidential primary taking place in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Ologbondiyan said Nigerians have outgrown the current administration of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

He said, “You know it as a fact that Nigerians have moved beyond this government and President Muhammadu Buhari and as such, they are looking up to the Peoples Democratic Party to bring out that candidate who understands the nuances of Nigerians. That candidate has the ability to turn our situation in the country today around.

“We can assure you that the candidate that will emerge from this primary has the capacity to achieve this.”

Ologbondiyan expressed optimism that whoever emerges as the party’s presidential candidate has the capacity to “perform wonders”.

Tell us how the person will turn Nigeria around, its easier said than done.
You can't just tell me you would do better than the current government without elaborating clearly how you intend to achieve such. Majority of our politicians are lacking in the basic principles of governance.
All they seek is self enrichment.
