Two young Presidential candidates in Nigeria 2019 election, Fela Durotoye (ANN) and Omoyele Sowore (AAC) have adopted the use of technology to crowdsource for funds towards their campaign. Both candidates have launch funding campaign on the popular Gofundme website. Durotoye who created his funding campaign on 18th May 2018 has so far realized $2,721 out of his $3.0M goal. Sowore, on the other hand, created his campaign on 13 March 2018 and have so far made $80,720 of $2.0M goal as at 8th October 2018.
