its not the amount of the wage that is the problem, the problem is,can they pay ??
ordinary 18k,dem owe people for 5 months and they are insisting on 30k...
I think they should rather strike a deal of 20k,then the staff are paid once it's 25th of every month... it's better that way

25k is even too much,
90% of states can not pay it.
And we have 90% of graduates roaming around without a job.
They should reduce that 18k in order to accommodate others.

it's minimum wage bro, not general basic salary for all levels...
anybody who wants to earn higher, should add more effort on the CV.
ordinarily, minimum wage is for those employed with primary 6 certificate.

2015 minimum wage was #18000 when dollar was #200 making it $90. As at October 2018 minimum wage is #18000 with dollar at #360 making it $50. The proposed minimum wage of #25000 at #360 per dollar will give us a minimum wage of $69.4. Why can't d government take the wage back to the way they met it in 2015, which is $90 (#32400) so that we know that we are back to starting point then start negotiating of new minimum wage.
