Dear Parent,

OPEN LETTER TO PARENTS IN NIGERIA
(2018/2019 SESSION)

A new session (2018/2019) has started and I believe you've started paying fees, buying textbooks ,writing materials etc. for your child /children. (God bless you for this).

I know you are anxious for them to perform well in their new class and you will be eager to see their result at the end of the term (December 2018)

Nevertheless remember that among the students in your child's new class:

There is an entrepreneur whose score may be low in English Language :

There is a musician whose exam score may be low in science related subjects:

There is a footballer whose exam score may be low in Mathematics :

There is a comedian whose talent is more essential than commerce..... etc.

Moreover in the same class we can have doctors,lawyers,pilots etc.

At the end of last term,if your child got high marks in his or her exam/test:that's fantastic !!

But if he or she didn't please don't take away their self esteem/confidence -don't insult or compare them with other children (If you've been doing that please STOP now.)

Encourage them by telling them they have tried and they are going to make it in life (Be-positive-no-matter- WHAT). Let them know that no matter how low their score may be you love them and believe in them and their talent/gift/dream.

The moment you begin to do this:

You will see changes in their performance (Bitter Truth) ........

Don't ever believe that lawyers, bankers,doctors,engineers etc are the only successful people in the world,your children can do something different from others and also be successful /happy in life.

(Give them the freedom to choose their PASSION )........
