I need directions on how to recover my cash from a transaction gone wrong... Paid money to someone for a dealing which he guaranteed and backed up by issuing me a Post dated Cheque of d amount I paid.. Turns out d deal was taking longer than expected and he was asking for extra cash which wasn't part of out initial agreement so I decided to pull out of it and he promised to fund his account for me to go cash as he claimed he already put d money into d deal.. It's been months already and he's still promising to pay but my patience is running out.. He doesn't take my calls and only messages me to plead for more time.. I still have d cheque he issued so I need advice on what step to take to recover my money..

I'm considering involving d Police but I want to know if there's something I can do with his cheque like block his account or something

Contact your bank e-fraud unit, they will sort it sharp
