HarvestPlus Nigeria and its partners today flagged off its 4th edition of the Nutritious Food Fair in Lagos. The Nutritious Food Fair (NFF), has grown to become a commercial platform for promoting the production, marketing and consumption of nutritious foods in Nigeria.

The fourth edition of the Nutritious Food Fair, the largest platform in Nigeria that showcases businesses and opportunities in the nutritious food sector will be held at Landmark Events Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria from 7th – 9th November 2018.

The fair has grown to become a commercial platform for promoting the production, processing, marketing, and consumption of nutritious foods in Nigeria.

This year’s event will feature business seminars, an exhibition of nutritious foods and processing equipment, practical training sessions and entertainment. The fair is expected to attract over 10,000 participants from within and outside the country.

The first three editions which held in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja in 2015, Calabar International Convention Centre, Tinapa, in 2016 and Michael Okpara Square in 2017 were attended by over 15,000 participants and 200 exhibitors from 5 countries.

HarvestPlus and its partners work in 26 states of Nigeria to promote the availability, adoption and consumption of Vitamin A Cassava, Maize and Orange, Sweet Potato. Their goal is that more than 100 million Nigerians will be consuming these biofortified crops by 2030.
