My wife was asking me "why are you fixated on Buhari?" My answer was simple , the action and inaction of Mr President creates serious turmoil within me and the only way I will have my peace is talking about it.
The Executive Order Number 6 and the subsequent traveling ban of promient people in the society shows how fast the administration is moving towards FACISM.
Anytime things are not working economically they will arrest a prominent politician or issue a draconian order to shift attention from real issue- increase in the price of rice and basic commodities.
Fascisms is a political movement that aim to take over the state, destroying liberal institutions like an independent media, and individual rights. It appeals to the sense of patriotism by identifying a pseudo-enemy .
Buhari's administration tick all the boxes .
The administration was able to muzzle judiciary by labelling them as corrupt judges. They tried the legislative arm and met stiff resistance. Now politicians​ perceived to be enemies are next in firing line.
Buhari's plan is to be in power after 2023 , so we we need to draw a battle line now
