PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has promised to restructure Nigeria within six months if he is elected President. However, it seems like a tall dream how Atiku will devolve some of his power to states within that period, establish state police, return Nigeria to regionalism and so on.

Can Atiku really so all these within six months or it is just a campaign to win votes having realised that it is what the South- West and South- East are craving for?

@ Op. You are wrong about the concept of restructuring. Restructuring does not mean establishing state police by federal government but giving states power to establish and control local police. The whole restructuring simply means desolving power to local authorities to determine and control their affairs and not do it for them as it is being done for them now by federal government.

Buhari and Atiku are just as bad as each other. The same goes for APC and PDP.

The President of Nigeria has no powers to restructure Nigeria. The only arm of government that can restructure Nigeria is the national assembly. So if Atiku or anyone says they will restructure Nigeria, it is a big fat lie.

However, if whoever is President of Nigeria supports restructuring, it is a big boost to it.

But I believe that Nigeria will never be restructured because the core North are against it and this is one of the reasons why SS/SE should boycott the election and insist on independence
