There is a vast difference between God’s ideas and good ideas. God has not called us to operate in good ideas. He called us to operate in His ideas, and if you’ve got an idea from God, you must labour to wait in the presence of God to receive the strategy He desires to use in working out that idea.
You cannot fulfill the plan of God by using Egyptian tactics, Satan’s strategy, worldly methods or the devil’s wisdom. You must have the strategy of God. God has a strategy for every instruction He gives you. No matter how illogical it looks, follow the strategy of God. We must learn to submit our intelligence to the revelation of God. When divine revelation is talking, human experience must sit down. It is a foolish person who promotes human experience above divine revelation.
Human experience must take the back seat when divine revelation is talking. David, the servant of God, in walking in the plan of God, knew that he could not fight the battle of the Lord using human strategy. We saw the battle with Goliath, where he could not wear the armour of Saul; he needed to wear what he was used to, and that was a divine strategy. Many times, the world wants us to wear Saul’s armour and still carry the spirit of David. It won’t work.
Saul was promoting human experience above divine revelation. Human experience has to do with age and interaction with the things of this world; and most of the experiences you get from this world are Satan-dominated and Satan-influenced. David was coming from the presence of God, in a pure spirit, having a pure revelation from God.
PRAYER: Lord, let divine ideas permeate my spirit for divine outcomes in life in Jesus’ name.
