The Senate chamber went into a rowdy section on Wednesday, 17th October 2018, as Senate President, Bukola Saraki stopped Senator Akpabio from reacting to Senator Albert Akpan allegations.

Senator Akpan representing Akwa Ibom North-East rise to inform the red chamber of the mayhem caused by the APC during it primaries. Leaving scores dead and injured in Akwa Ibom state.

He feared the party members might do something similar if APC loses in the 2019 general election.

The former minority leader, Senator Akpabio who hails from the same state and the ruling party signifies to speak, but he was denied by the Senate President.

He was denied from reacting because he was far from his assigned sit.

The Senate went into rowdy section as Senate leader rise to speak in favour of Senator Akpabio while Senator Dino and other senators from the People's Democratic Party ( PDP) also rise in favour of the Senate president.

The rowdy section went on for several minutes before the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ekweremadu pleaded to allow Senator Akpabio speak.
