2019 Presidency: What Babaginda Told Obasanjo About Suffering In Nigeria – Keyam by kanicorp9(m): 5:12pm On Oct 19, 2018
Director of Media of the Buhari Campaign Organisation, Festus Keyamo, SAN, has recalled what former Military Head of State, Ibrahim Babangida told former President, Olusegun Obasanjo about the sufferings of Nigerians in 2002.

Keyamo said that Obasanjo and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, were trying to deceive young Nigerians by telling them that there was no suffering during their tenure.

Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, posted a front page of a national newspaper dated 2002 where Babaginda was quoted to have cautioned Obasanjo that “Nigerians are suffering” on his Twitter handle to drive home his point.

Keyomo tweeted, “Because they are targeting the younger voters who don’t know their record, they say there was no suffering at all during their tenure.

“This publication was in 2002, which was exactly 3 years into their first term.”

2002 suffering is nothing to compare to what Nigerians are experiencing now.

Atiku was Obasanjo's deputy and head of the economic management team as at that time. Nigerians suffered so much during that era while Atiku was busy looting PTDP and COJA funds. Instead of managing the economy, he sold all our national assets to himself and some cronies. OBJ was so ashamed of him that he dissolved the entire National council on privatisation because Atiku cannot be legally removed as chairman.

Name those national assets Atiku "sold to himself".

With your logic, we are safe to hold Osinbajo responsible for the economic woes under Buhari?

What court of law convicted Atiku of "looting PTDF and COJA"? Please point me to the case. I am allergic to beer parlour gossip.

Thanks as you oblige this request.
