Results of the 2010 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination conducted by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka were released on Wednesday. According to the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Barth Okolo, a total of 31,326 candidates took part in the screening exercise, with Okere Onyekachi O’Brian, a candidate for B.Sc Economics, emerging the best with 346.67 points out of 400. The university administration, Okolo said, in its determination to ensure the pursuit of academic excellence by both staff and students, would award a scholarship to Okere to cover his undergraduate studies. http://punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art201007155141962 |
