the above link really puts it in perspective...

pmb's supporters often argue about how PMB is recieving half the oil revenue previous administrations received (that is not entirely true, but that's for another discussion).

but they fail to recognise the fact that PMB has had almost the the budget estimates per year of previous administrations.

& with an average but performance of about 40%, PMB has supposedly spent more than previous administrations & achieved far less...

to put it in perspective, the average budget estimate of GEJ hovered around N4.5trn & had an average performance rate of N2.2trn p.a.

PMB has an average budget estimate of N7trn & average performance of N3.3trn...

with N2.2trn p.a.,GEJ (for all his flaws) did the following (just a few highlights)

1. established 12 full-fleged universities;

2. built/rehabilitated over between 900km-1200km of rail lines;

3. built over 100 schools up north;

4. kept fuel at under N100;

5. built/rehabilitated over 6 power generating stations raising the installed capacity to 12,000mw;

6. kept inflation at under 10%;

7. Nigeria became the 3rd fastest growing economy in the world & biggest in Africa;

8. increased minimum wage by over 100% (across all cadres & grade levels in Federal MDAs);

9. thousands of Kms of road constructed/rehabilitated...

PMB with a higher budget performance of N3.3trn p.a. is yet to achieve any of the above mentioned achievements... except you count propaganda as achievement...

the only stand out positive of PMB is increasing foreign reserves, but even that is counterbalanced by the doubling of our borrowings, higher exchange rate & general hardship for the hardworking citizens...

If you can read my post correctly...im sure you can see clearly the huge debt is uncalled for. Try & read soundly instead of doing blind politicaL activities. You can even stab your ally while chasing your enemy
